More details released by Soul Survivor and World Wide Message Tribe about The Message 2000
SOUL SURVIVOR and the World Wide Message Tribe have announced more details of The Message 2000 when tens of thousands of young people will endeavour to evangelise Manchester. The Message promises to be one of the biggest ever mission events to be held in Britain. Over the next two years Message To Schools Trust and their band WWMT will be motivating churches and providing training. Then during the first seven months of the year 2000 local evangelistic events will be held all over the city leading to the two major thrusts when thousands of young people will converge on the city and live for a week at Tent City, probably to be located at Heaton Park. The two events will take place from Friday 28 July to Tuesday 1 August and from Wednesday 2 August to Sunday 6 August. The days will consist of the morning with the delegates receiving in worship, teaching, ministry and preparation for going out; the afternoons with delegates doing projects including cafes, community projects, one-to-one evangelism and street theatre; and the evenings with delegates gathering at assorted venues in the city for evangelism/celebration where those they have met during the afternoon projects will be invited. There will be a comprehensive follow up programme for the thousands of young people expected to make Christian commitments.
Numerous top CCM artists are expected to play gigs and minister during The Message 2000. For more information/booking forms write to Soul Survivor, 7 Greycaine Road, Watford, Herts WD2 4JP. Phone 01923 333331 or fax 01923 333334
