Over $80,000 raised for Haiti by Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir
THE AWARD-winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir raised over $80,000 during their march across the Brooklyn Bridge and their concert last weekend to raise funds for victims of the Haiti disaster. Since the earthquake, one of the church's missionary locations has been feeding nearly 300 children daily using leftover supplies and a propane tank. Last week, the church sent a ministry team that included medical and engineering volunteers to survey damages and begin repairs in Port-au-Prince and Jacmel.
