Parachute Band make number two in NZ pop chart
NEW ZEALAND's leading worship ministry, Parachute Band have entered the Top 40 in their homeland at number two with their 'Matins: Vespers' album. The double album is based on the concept of "morning songs [Matins]" and "evening prayers [Vespers]", which the band says "combines the exciting exploration of Parachute Band's sound with a nod to the ancient rhythms of worship. The album's name references the concept; a modern twist on the old canonical offices." The album was produced by Sam de Jong and Alister Wood.
