CCM stars NewSong to launch their own record label.

AMERICAN CCM group NewSong have parted company with Reunion Records and are in the process of launching their own record label. A label name and distribution plans are yet to be announced. Said Eddie Carswell, one of the group's founding members, "Over the past five years NewSong have been discussing how we could produce and promote our own projects and develop tomorrow's Christian music ministries. Now we have the chance to pursue these dreams."

NewSong have gained 17 number one Christian radio singles in the last decade plus the mainstream number one radio hit "The Christmas Shoes" which topped Billboard's Adult-Contemporary chart. CR
