Popular rock iconoclasts [dweeb] to bow out in September

AFTER NINE years or recording and touring one of Britain's most popular Christian bands, [dweeb], have announced they will be calling it a day in September. Before the band bow out [dweeb] will undertake a farewell three-month tour of the UK and Europe and will be releasing a single "My New Hero". Said the band's frontman Tim Alford, "After so many years it does feel strange to end, but we do all feel that it's the right time. We have devoted nine years of our lives to this and have given it everything. It has been a privilege and an honour to make music that has had an effect on people's lives over the years. So yes, there's a sense of sadness, but one of peace as well. It's been an incredible adventure and we will always be grateful to our friends and fans for joining in with us. But there's a time for everything..." CR
