Popular rock iconoclasts [dweeb] to bow out in September
AFTER NINE years or recording and touring one of Britain's most
popular Christian bands, [dweeb], have announced they will be calling
it a day in September. Before the band bow out [dweeb] will undertake a farewell
three-month tour of the UK and Europe and will be releasing a single
"My New Hero". Said the band's frontman Tim Alford, "After so many
years it does feel strange to end, but we do all feel that it's the
right time. We have devoted nine years of our lives to this and have
given it everything. It has been a privilege and an honour to make
music that has had an effect on people's lives over the years. So yes,
there's a sense of sadness, but one of peace as well. It's been an
incredible adventure and we will always be grateful to our friends and
fans for joining in with us. But there's a time for everything..."
