Staging of worship event postponed

WORSHIP LEADER Noel Richards has decided not to go ahead with the staging of a worship event at Berlin's Waldbuhne Amphitheatre in 2001. Instead, he will await the refurbishment of the Olympic Stadium which will be available in the summer of 2004. He said, "We will have to wait a little longer before we see the youth of the world and the young at heart gather at that place. However, we believe that the timing is in God's hands. Perhaps he is giving us more time for what we believe will be a very significant event of prayer and worship in that place. We are considering holding a Berlin Worship Weekend in late summer 2001. This would be open to anyone who is able to attend. We would especially want worship leaders, worship teams, dancers, evangelists, intercessors, youth leaders and church leaders to be there."
