Yancy And Friends release "Not About The Weather (Christmas)" single
NASHVILLE-based singer/songwriter Yancy, who specialises in teen pop, worship and children's music and who's enjoyed Cross Rhythms playlist hits with "Silent Night" and "Little Drummer Boy", has released a single, "Not About The Weather (Christmas)". It is Yancy And Friends' first release in five years in the Little Praise Party series. Yancy spoke about the origins of the song. She said, "The inspiration for this song was thinking of my friends that live in places where they won't get a 'white Christmas'. Myself included in that since I'm a southern girl. Most Christmas music thinks about Christmas through a winter weather lens but this song brings the focus back on what the season is really all about."
