Reading's ska band Sounds Of Salvation release new EP

FESTIVAL favourites Sounds Of Salvation (SOS) have released a new EP, 'Nuking The Fridge'. The title is a reference to the 2008 Indiana Jones film where the hero survives a nuclear explosion by hiding in a refrigerator. Said the band's Michael Whiteman, "This is definitely the best thing we've done so far, with the best songs and the best sounding recording. We have started work on a third album with Dez Minto (Yfriday) as producer but hopefully this should keep our ska fans happy until we are able to complete that." The EP was launched at the Firm Foundations festival on the 28th May. CR
