Bath's Joshua Luke Smith releases new EP

BRITAIN'S spoken-word artist Joshua Luke Smith has released a newalbum 'Becoming Human' through America's Residence Music. Said Joshua, "These songs speak of our human tensions, our longing for peace and soulful assurance but our drive for success at the cost of who we are. They are in many ways an ode to the ancient truth that all real change is internal, with external consequence. We cannot always bring down a regime, but we can disarm the soldier in the mirror. Until we spend less time looking at the world through our Instagram filters and more time investigating the filters WE have, we'll walk in circles. I wrote these songs to remind myself the issue isn't out there, it's in here. And I'm glad because it can be challenged daily, questioned and changed. That which is undiagnosed cannot be dealt with, that which is hidden can never be healed. The power is in my hands because the world I can change is in my heart."
