Urban gospellers Out Of Eden call it a day, release greatest hits project

AFTER AN earlier announcement that Out Of Eden were taking a sabbatical, it has now been announced that the R&B gospel group are to end their 13 year career. An album 'Out Of Eden The Hits', a 12-song collection with one brand new song, will be released in the US by Gotee Records on 1st August. Said the group's Lisa Kimmey, "This has been such an incredible journey for the three of us. We have been blessed to work with some of the most amazing people and to sing for an amazing audience. I want to send my deepest thanks and gratitude to our Gotee family, Chaffee Management, The William Morris Agency, and all the numerous agencies, management teams, promoters, radio personnel and website managers with whom we have had the pleasure of working." CR

What a shame. This group have been the most innovative, tuneful girl group for a very long time. I loved the hymns album and recommend it to anyone who hasn't bought it yet. They really bring these songs to life! God Bless them. I assume solo careers will follow.

i am so shockedi love them!!i know Hyms did not do as well as their other albums but they are still brilliant!!!!!I am so sad,God bless them.

my all time favourite r&b gospel group. i'm so sad they are calling it a day. i have all their albums and have been blessed by them all.
