Switchfoot back with new single to be featured in film soundtrack

PLATINUM selling band Switchfoot are set to release their first new song in over two years. The brand new track "You Found Me" was written for the motion picture Unbroken: Path To Redemption and is the lead single from the film's soundtrack album, to be released the day of the film's theatrical release, 14th September. Read a band statement, "A few months back we were approached with an opportunity to write a song for the new film, Unbroken: Path To Redemption. Even though we've been home on hiatus since last November, we just couldn't say no. The film chronicles the story of one of our heroes, Louis Zamperini. Louis was an Olympian, WWII POW and lived a life of hope, strength and transformation. So we wrote a song inspired by his life called 'You Found Me'. We're really proud of this song."
