Veteran reggae and world music man Ben Okafor returns

ONE OF the seminal figures in the development of Christian-based reggae music in the UK, Nigeria-born Ben Okafor, has returned with what will be his 13th album. The veteran, who made the Cross Rhythms playlist in 2001 with "See Me Now", will release a two-song single from the project, "Perfect Friends/Sanctify My Soul", featuring Ben with his new band The Liberators. Said Ben, "These two songs, whilst different in style, really work with each other and I am hoping they will promote unity both through spiritualism and otherwise.
