R&B star Bunny Sigler returns to gospel roots with new album
ONE OF the major figures of Philadelphia soul music, Bunny Sigler has
released his first gospel project. A songwriter and producer as well
as an artist, Sigler is best known for writing such R&B hits as
Instant Funk's "I Got My Mind Made Up", Patti Labelle's "Somebody
Loves You Baby", The Whispers' "Bingo" and The O'Jays' "Sunshine".
Sigler's 'The Lord's Prayer' is released on Bun-Z Music & Records,
a label Sigler has formed with entertainment attorney Lloyd Zane
Remick. Said Sigler, "I'm in this for real. Although I've sung urban
music, I never stopped singing gospel music. For me, it's all about
ministry. It's such a joy for me to sing gospel music and to sing in
church. I know it was God who instructed me to do this project now."
