Charity offers new worship songs written by prisoners

TO COINCIDE with Prisoners Week (18th-24th November) the charity Changing Tunes is releasing eight original songs written by prisoners and ex-prisoners for churches to use in their worship. The songs will be downloadable from www.changingtunes.org.uk as an mp3, with accompanying sheet music, lyrics, resources and a case study about the composers. Said director of Changing Tunes, Tim Snowdon, "Our hope is that this music will be used by churches in their services, as well as for personal worship, to help to create stronger links and understanding between churches, prisoners and ex-prisoners." CR
