Richard Smallwood returns with new project

WASHINGTON DC-based gospel star Richard Smallwood will release a new album in the US on the 21st of June. The project 'Promises' will be issued by Verity Records and was recorded live in Bowie, Maryland. It features a special track with Lalah Hathaway called "Praying For Peace". 'Promises' is the first album Smallwood has written since the passing of his mother in 2005. Said Smallwood about the album, "I wanted to write something that everyone could identify with globally, which is that we need, peace."
