Mike Herrera takes time out from MxPx to record with Tumbledown
THE FRONTMAN of veteran punk band MxPx, Mike Herrera has formed a surprising side project, new band Tumbledown. The 'Tumbledown' album, released on Austin-based record label End Sounds, is described as "country pop punk-a-billy." Herrera has been writing songs for the project since 1998 and says he's been influenced by such country legends as Hank Williams, Johnny Cash and Bill Monroe.
