PledgeMusic campaign funds Mark Heard tribute album

A TRIBUTE album marking the 25th anniversary of the death of singer/songwriter Mark Heard is being funded by fans through PledgeMusic. 'Treasure Of The Broken Land: The Songs Of Mark Heard' is produced by Phil Madeira and features Americana artists Rodney Crowell, Drew Holcomb, Sierra Hull, Buddy Miller, Cindy Morgan, Amy Helm and others. The project's mastermind is Jeff Grantham who wrote, "While bringing awareness to Herd's stunning body of work is certainly one of the main goals of the project I also hope 'Treasure Of The Broken Land' will make Mark's widow Janet, and his daughter Rebecca, proud." CR
