Eden's Bridge return with EPs based on each season
ONE OF Britain's most popular Celtic acts, Eden's Bridge, have returned to the scene. The group have released the third in a series of four EPs, each one based on a different season. Already issued are 'The Winter Sings', 'First Leaf' and 'The Longest Day' with the final EP scheduled for November. Said the band's Richard Lacy, "The idea for a set of releases based on the idea of the seasons came from Terl Bryant about 12 years ago and it seemed like the right starting point for us now. The releases are all EPs, but with five or six tracks on each, with running times of between 25 and 30 minutes. Each one is being released at roughly three month intervals. We are using a completely new type of cardboard packaging, illustrated by an amazing artist called Angela Smyth. Each EP case contains three months of a postcard calendar, so it's all quite beautiful to hold and look at."
