Carlos Whittaker walks off with Favourite Viral Video Star award

AMERICAN worship leader Carlos Whittaker, who had the album 'Ragamuffin Soul' released last year through Integrity-Provident, was on 5th January the unexpected winner of the Favourite Viral Video Star award at the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles. The award was for the video of the song "Single Ladies Devastation" portraying his son's emotional reaction to Beyonce's "Single Ladies". The video went viral in March 2010 and currently over five million people have viewed "Single Ladies Devastation" and has resulted in Whittaker and his family being featured on ABC's Good Morning America, CBS's The Early Show, NBC's The Today Show and many other TV programmes. Whittaker has since used the video's international fame as a platform to raise awareness on the issue of adoption.
