Seattle's Ghost Ship release EP, plan album

AHEAD OF a full length album to be released later this year, the Seattle-based folk worship band Ghost Ship have issued a four-song EP, 'Costly', through BEC Recordings. Talking about the EP's "Look What God Has Done" song Ghost Ship's lead singer Cam Huxford said, "Last year Zach Bolen (of Citizens & Saints) and I were invited to lead worship at a 50th anniversary celebration of a church in Savannah, Georgia. My dad has been the pastor of the church for 30 years, and Zach and I had both worked there together 10 years ago. Inspired by the gospel legacy we had seen Jesus provide through that church, we decided to co-write a worship song to sing when we lead worship at that event. We hope this song is a reminder of how beautiful Jesus' church is and how much he loves her. The chorus comes from the doxology at the end of Ephesians 3 and it's been so encouraging to belt out this passage as an anthem at churches with brothers and sisters." CR
