Mike Shaw is winner of International Songwriting Competition.

THE PRESTIGIOUS International Songwriting Competition has announced its 2004 winners. In the Gospel/Christian category first place went to Mike Shaw from Hoover, Alabama for his song "Belong". It is from Mike's independent album 'New Songs And Hymn Reconstruction'. Second place went to "Broken And Blessed" by Carmen Calhoun/Chad Ballantyne/Brad Baerwald, featured on Carmen's debut album. Third prize went to "Beautiful" by Josh Zandman from Morgansville, New Jersey. Josh is one of the original members of the award winning band Burlap To Cashmere. CR
