A chance encounter with Renee Zellweger inspires singer/songwriter Scott Krippayne.
A CHANCE encounter at Starbucks with a movie celebrity inspired a song on the new album by popular American singer/songwriter Scott Krippayne. While Krippayne passed the time away writing at the Los Angeles coffee shop, actress Renee Zellweger walked in and ordered coffee. Noticing the change in the crowd, Krippayne wrote "Renee" in a few hours. Said Krippayne, "I started thinking about what life might be like for her. This song was basically my one-sided conversation with her. Just the thought of what it must be like to live in her shoes - what things are different about us and what things we have in common and how our stories are similar." The song is featured on Krippayne's 'Gentle Revolution' album for Word Records.
