Critically acclaimed Sufjan Stevens releases Christmas box set

AVANT GARDE singer/songwriter Sufjan Stevens is featured on a box set released by Asthmatic Kitty titled 'Songs For Christmas'. Starting in 2001, Stevens began recording EPs of Christmas songs which were given to family and friends but also ended up on peer-to-peer sites. Now Stevens' renditions of such songs as "Silent Night" and "Little Drummer Boy" have been released to the general public. The CD booklet contains short stories by Stevens and a Christmas essay by author Rick Moody. CR
