A new studio album is expected from Switchfoot

CURRENTLY THE best selling Christian rock band in the world, Switchfoot, are back in the studio. Their new album, as yet untitled, is set to be released later in 2005 and will be the follow-up project to the double platinum The Beautiful Letdown'. The band have also joined a line-up of other top rock acts, Evanescence, Jet and The Donnas, contributing a new recording for the soundtrack for Elektra, the latest action movie starring Alias's Jennifer Garner. On the soundtrack Switchfoot have recorded a new version of their 1999 song "Sooner Or Later" from the album 'New Way To Be Human'.
