Leading Christian network changes name

BRITAIN'S leading Christian TV network has changed its name. The Sunderland-based ministry, previously known as The Dream Family Network, changed its name to GOD Digital during a live 5th birthday show on 1st October. Said a GOD Digital spokesperson, The Dream Family Network has served its season well, in helping to clearly establish our Christian multi-channel package as the one digital platform specifically tailored to offer safe family viewing for Europe. Now as the ministry looks forward to the next five years of development, it is apparent from the last five, that new wineskins will be needed to contain the breadth of God's vision for this ministry.

GOD Digital broadcasts 24 hours a day on SKY Digital via The GOD Channel as a free to air service and to 58 countries via The GOD Digital multi-channel package on Sirius2. The package includes TV stations The GOD Channel, The Revival Channel [incorporating Revival Europe and The Worship Channel), Euronews and Travel Channel. The package also offers digital radio stations Cross Rhythms [Christian R&B, rock and dance], UCB Europe [adult contemporary music) and the newly launched Dream Radio.

The Dream Radio team includes Chairman, Don Heginbotham, Dave Kangas and Rick Brock who are currently drawing up schedules on final details for the Dream Radio Network but have already confirmed a weekly hour long programme to be presented by Cross Rhythms Chris Cole. The programme will go out every Thursday from 10.00 -11.00 pm and will feature each week guests from the UK Christian music scene. CR
