Vintage celluloid drama starring Cliff Richard released on DVD
BRITISH STAR Cliff Richard is due to have his first big screen appearance released on DVD. On 23rd October British films specialist DD Home Entertainment are releasing Serious Charge. This film marked Cliff's first film role and captures him performing three songs including his first UK number one hit "Living Doll". The film also stars Anthony Quayle and Sarah Church Hill and sees Cliff Richard playing Curley Thompson, a young tearaway in a small English town. The DVD has been digitally re-mastered for enhanced sound and picture quality and includes a behind-the-scenes booklet and the original cinema trailer.
