Drew Holcomb to tour UK; ready album
AMERICANA hitmaker Drew Holcomb will be undertaking a tour of the UK, kicking off with an appearance at the Celtic Connections event in Glasgow on 29th January 2015. The tour will continue with gigs at The Bronte Centre, Rathfrilland, Nth Ireland on 30th January; Island Arts Centre, Lisburn on 31st Jan; The White Horse, Ballincollig on 1st Feb; Old Queens Head, London on 3rd February; The Prince Albert, Brighton on 4th Feb; the B-Bar, Plymouth on 5th Feb; Kirton-in-Lindsey Town Hall on 6th Feb; The Bullingdon, Oxford on 7th Feb; and The Maze, Nottingham on 8th February. Holcomb will be accompanied by Nathan Dugger.
The band's new album 'Medicine' on Holcomb's own Magnolia Music is released on 26th January 2015. Recorded over eight days at Joe Pisapia's Middletree Studios in East Nashville, the 12-song album was co-produced by Pisapia (Ben Folds, KD Lang) and the band and tackles issues of everyday life including loyalty, hardship, marriage, friendship, alienation and faith.
