Pop rockers 1000 Generations ready 'Turn Off The Lesser Lights' album

INDIANAPOLIS-based 1000 Generations, who are described as "fusing powerful piano-driven pop with tribal-influenced beats and vertical lyrics that cry out to God," will have their album 'Turn Off The Lesser Lights' released on Vineyard Music's Varietal label on 4th August. 'Turn Off The Lesser Lights' has already received major accolades with the social justice anthem "How Big Small Can Be" named the GMA Academy's Song Of The Year in 2007. In addition, the song "Fascinated" was number three in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Said Steven Potaczek, who with Amanda Potaczek, fronts the band, "We're really passionate about people having an experience they can walk away with. We believe that if someone has a real experience with God, that it will change their lives, and their kids' lives, and on down the line. Even as we write songs, we're thinking about impact that they will have on the generations to come." CR
