Rockers Rez, previously known as the Resurrection Band, are to play Meltdown '93.

THE RADICAL heavy rock band from Chicago, Rez, are making a unique visit to Britain in October. Providing the bulk of the seminars and ministry at Meltdown '93, the metal and alternative rock music teaching weekend held at the Quinta Centre in Western Rhyn, Shropshire, the band will also be playing one British concert at Salford University on 16 October.

Says Dave Williams, organiser of Meltdown (previously called Metal Meltdown), "We're thrilled that Rez are coming to be with us over the full weekend. This will be an amazing opportunity for ministry and music." Supporting Rez on their concert are Midlands AOR team Metanoia while sleeze metal group Gethse-mane Rose and radical worship team DKF are playing at Meltdown '93.
