Underoath's 'Define The Great Line' enters US album chart at number two
AMERICA's hard music band Underoath have achieved a huge mainstream
hit in the States when their latest album. 'Define The Great Line'
claimed the number two spot on Billboard's Top 200 albums chart in its
first week of release. This marks the highest debut on the Billboard
Top 200 chart for a Christian album since Lee Ann Rimes' inspirational
project 'You Light Up My Life' debuted at number one in September
1997. Underoath's
album sold 98,000 units for the week ending 25th June, making it the
highest first week sales mark in record company Tooth & Nail's
history. It also marks the most units sold in the first week since
Switchfoot's 'Nothing Is Sound' sold more than 131,000 units in
September 2005.
