Chris August readies new album after skateboarding accident

TEXAS-BASED singer Chris August, whose 'No Far Away' album was a major US Christian radio hit, will release his new album 'The Upside Of Down' in August. The album's title refers to a recent skateboarding accident after which he was humbled by the healing process. Said August, "Even in the 'down' part of life, I've had such intimate moments with friends being at my house and lifting me in prayer- I'm really connecting with Christ on a new level. I couldn't ask for anything else through all this!" The first single from the project, "Center Of It", is currently getting US airplay.
