Teenage rocker Paige Armstrong releases 'Wake Up' project
19 YEAR OLD rock singer Paige Armstrong has her album 'Wake Up' released in the US on Whiplash Records. The singer previously found national fame when at the age of 11 was diagnosed with bone cancer. She was linked to the Make A Wish Foundation and travelled to Nashville to make a Christian album as part of her wish. She subsequently appeared on national TV programmes such Today, sharing her story, her faith and her music. 'Wake Up' was produced by Chris Omartian (Hilary Duff, Pink) and Brian Hitt with Armstrong co-writing all the songs. Said Armstrong, "My songs are meant to be a bold awakening to a generation that has fallen asleep in apathy. The music is incredibly edgy and the message is daring as it shares personal value and inspires each one of us to move off the sidelines of life and into the adventure God has for us."
