Floods hit Hull-based Vineyard Records UK
THE FLOODS which have recently devastated Britain hit Hull-based
Vineyard Records UK when more than the average June rainfall fell in
just six hours. The ground floor of the Vineyard Records offices was a
foot deep in water for two days. Thankfully there was little damage as
VRUK staff had time to move all the important items (servers, stock,
furniture, etc) away from the flood. Said general manager Chris
Whitelock, "Our thoughts go out to all the families in this region who
have come off much, much worse than ourselves, with many families not
being able to move back to their homes until December."
