Word Entertainment reactivate Canaan Records, sign The Hoppers

IN THE USA, Word Entertainment have announced the re-launch of legendary Southern gospel label, Canaan Records, at a sales conference in Franklin, Tennessee. The first group signed for the label are The Hoppers. As a subsidiary of Word, Canaan Records began in 1965 releasing albums by such Southern gospel acts as The Happy Goodman Family, The Florida Boys, The Inspirations and The Cathedrals. CR
