Zealand Worship sign deal with Word Records

AFTER A number of years with hitmakers Newsboys followed by a shoal of independent releases including children's music, singer/bassist Phil Joel has signed his band, Zealand Worship, to Word Records, who are in the process of releasing their debut album. Said Joel, "The band I started about three years ago, Zealand Worship, is finding its way out into the world as our website launches today with some music, videos, band bio, etc. Since leaving Newsboys, I've had a blast being independent and operating off the grid and outside the channels of the regular Christian music world. It's always been about relationships and partnering with like-minded people to do music and ministry as effectively as possible.and I love it! To be honest with you, I never saw myself entering back into the record company world of Christian music again until I met the Word Records people. These guys really understand the heart of what I'm about and share my passion to see people enter into worship and get excited about life in the Lord."
