Sometimes when we pray, especially if we feel like some of the Biblical people who we’ve seen over the last eleven weeks, we can feel very alone and isolated but Hebrew 7: 25 tells us:
'Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.'
How amazing to know that Jesus is praying for us constantly, non-stop, 24-7.365. How comforting to know when we pray in strength Jesus is roaring in prayer with us, or if we pray in complete weakness Jesus is standing with us upholding us. When we intercede for others Jesus stands too for them.
Hebrews 13: 5 says 'Never will I leave you nor forsake you.' Jesus stands with us continually in prayer, weeping when we weep, laughing when we laugh. How does He pray for everyone constantly you may ask – well He’s God and He can and that’s one thing we have to take on faith.
But today remember when you feel like you stand alone, when you feel like no one is on your side, when you feel like your prayers are hitting a brick wall – remember you are not alone – Jesus is praying with you!
