Who Is God When You Pray?: 1. Introduction
Well we've just spent the last 12 or so weeks looking at who are we when we pray, so it makes sense to me to therefore consider, who is God when we pray? This is a tough question and one that I couldn't possibly write all the answers to even if I never stopped writing again for the rest of my life. God is a God of so many characteristics and so many ways we will never fully know ALL of His character while we live on earth. Isaiah 55: 8-9 says:

'For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as far as the heavens are above the earth, so are My ways higher than yours and My thoughts than your thoughts.'

This series is going to go along the same lines as series 6. We will look each week at some of the main characteristics of God that come out as we read though the Bible and as we see other Bible characters pray.
