Who Is God When You Pray?: 10. God Is Listening (Conclusion)
One thing you can be assured of is that God is listening – He may not answer every prayer you pray in the way you want Him to, He may not seem to hear at times but He always listens. In Matthew 7: 7–8 it says:

“Ask and it will be given unto you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened unto you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”

God hears all that we ask Him and He cares about us more than we could ever imagine. When we pray let's not keep taking shopping list prayers but considering the nature of our God and His longing for intimacy with Him lets start to talk to Him. The mobile phone advert not so long ago asked – “Who would you like to have a one2one with?” lets make our answer today “God!”
