Dangerous Prayers: 3. God’s Answer Isn't Always Your Answer
So often we can be blinded by the idea that life for a Christian should be a bed of roses, but the truth is, the thorns are still there. God’s main aim is that we be transformed into the image of His son, Jesus. Therefore when we pray dangerous prayers He uses them as a starting point for the perfecting He does in us.

God is like the potter who moulds us by blows to get us ready for the firing process. (Jeremiah 18: 1-11) Just as the potter in Jeremiah does not discard the pots that go wrong, so God does not discard you in your distress and trials but lovingly moulds you into something better.

God is also like the gold or silver smith, to purify your life the heat must be turned up. The silver smith knows that the silver is pure when he can see a perfect reflection of his face in it; so God wants us to be a mirror image of Jesus.

Pray some dangerous prayers and find the joy of God making you more and more like Jesus.
