Praying In A Barren Place: 2. The God Who Makes A Way

Sometimes when we are in a barren place we feel there is no way out, but God in His word promises to ‘make a way’.

“Do not remember the former things. Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43: 18-19

This is one of God’s promises to us, therefore when praying, pray His word and pray His promises over the situation in your life. There is no greater strength in your prayer life than to pray God’s word and keep praying it, daily if necessary, until that road begins to emerge in your wilderness and rivers begin to spring up in those dry, barren places.
