One of the winners of the Ultimate Battle Of The Bands semi finals (Supervision won the final), they have in Dave Steward a singer of gutsy passion whose songs (he wrote two of the three here) are hooky and melodic yet convey spiritual truth with the minimum of cliché. Two songs here have tasty explosions of rock guitar while the third, “Home”, is acoustic with nice contributions from violin and cello. A hard-to-classify sound but their class is clearly evident.
