Rip-roaring stuff from the South Coast lads. Careful, quiet start is always going to be interrupted by an expectant rhythm section on "Glory Bound", the album's opener. This is a six-track compilation from the guys who don't seem to have quite found their niche yet, guitars sound alternately like Motorhead, late sixties psychaedelia and Tygers Of Pan Tang, whilst vocals come closer to Christian band of late seventies, Giantkiller. "Devil In Disguise", no not that one, takes them into Golden Earring "Radar Love" territory, by no means a bad thing and the best offering on the album - not so much for the lyrics but the general feeling the band gives off. Dave Flowers, lead singer, doesn't quite make all the notes he tries for on "Gnashville". A terrifically powerful, forceful thrash which deserves far greater production. Some great work here, a good time had by all and worth a gig or two in your area.
