Recent albums and concert tours have seen Al Denson promoted into the CCM Premier League in the US of A. So congratulations to those discerning execs at Nelson Word who thought it was about time we got to hear his stuff. If you like things in a Michael W Smith sort of vein, you'll love this! This is a classy album, from the slow opening build of the title song through to the closer "Draw Me Near", you get poppy grooves, sweet harmonies and those hooky choruses that grab your brain and reel it in!! Lyrically, the album is uplifting and encouraging without stooping to tweeness. Denson's soulful voice sounds great whether he's wrapping his tonsils round the funk of a song like "Say It With Love" or pleading with the listener to experience the transforming love of God on "Nothing In All Of The World". My current fave is the perfect pop celebration of "Living In The Light Of Your Love" which helps me to feel good about being alive. To be honest, if I was you I'd play safe, get this album before it gets you!!! I
