Alakrity jump all over your Ipod or whatever you would listen to their 'Whatever Happened To Good TV' offering on! Obviously not on TV! With their driving pop punk this Wisconsin-based band are hitting America's college campus scene with great alacrity. Winning over their local scene, Alakrity's song "Wait Up" won the Wish You Were Here Song Of The Year category at the 2009 Madison Area Music Awards (whatever those are). This is their first independent album released on Spurgatory Records (the mind boggles!). In a very interestingly packaged offering, the band have a few surprises in store. First they have produced a special version for their fans in Japan! Second, they do a cover of the Petra classic "Beyond Belief" enlisting the vocal talents of Petra veteran John Schlitt to beef up the vocals. With clever lyrics which address the needs of a college clientele, Alakrity should do brisk business.
