I thought his 'Bedroom To Throneroom' worship EP was good and even enjoyed his early teenage band Metallic Soap. But I'm afraid Andy, from Camden Town, North London, left me unimpressed with this seven-song mini-album and failed to leave me with much Christmas zeal though the latter might have something to do with the fact that I'm reviewing this in February. In truth, Andy doesn't have a strong enough voice to carry a solo rendition of "O Little Town" and the lush orchestral accompaniment (how on earth did he get a full orchestra to accompany him!) the effect is underwhelming. This six carols sung here, including "Angels From The Realms Of Glory", "Silent Night" and "Joy To The World", are available in much better versions than these and it's only the original title track which shows glimpses of something enjoyable. But that's too little too late.
