Looking On... is a new Christian musical which has already been performed successfully in several parts of the country, creating a demand for an album. The musical concerns "the journey of Pilgrim as he travels through the problems of the world and the complexities of religion continually searching for an answer to it all." It's an unusual musical mix, bits of futuristic programming cutting away to trained voiced choir, and snatches of Wesley and Watts hymnody interspersed with John Pantry-style pop. Not all the lead voices are top calibre. But its ambitious sweep is to be applauded.
