In promotional campaigns for their latest album, !Audacious claimed to be "Church turned up to 11". 'Bring The Praise' certainly lives up to the hyperbole and recorded live in Manchester this 12-track package goes all-out to make Jesus famous with maximum volume. A mass of guitars, keyboards and thunderous drums create some classic stadium rock anthems while passionate vocals from pastor Matt Hill (and several thousand others) deliver catchy melodies with "Open Heaven", "Overcome" and "Heart And Soul" all hitting the mark. But the most impressive thing about this album is the consistently high quality of vocal hooks and guitar riffs throughout. Proceedings reach their peak on the final track "Break Out" featuring an ear catching electric guitar riff. One could point out that turning everything up to 11 leaves no space for quieter contemplations on the Godhead and inevitably sitting through the whole of 'Bring The Praise' leaves one feeling that some of the songs here are too repetitive. But for me, this album from Manchester's fast growing church is an exhilarating experience.

Product Description
!Audacious make no bones of the fact, this is Church turned up to 11. In a culture of noise, where meaning is washed away, !Audacious have long blazed a trail of infectious passion and love for Jesus. After almost a decade spearheading national conferences, touring worldwide, and providing the soundtrack to the vibrant, power-packed !Audacious Church in Manchester, the !Audacious Band deliver their latest record, an album of gigantic flair and verve, recorded live this summer.

Bring the Praise is the buried core and title of the release, scorching guitars, unshakable backbeats, laptops and soundmachines. It's fearlessly retro-futuristic. A tough trick, but something senior pastors Glyn and Sophia Barrett have always contended, that the Church should be the leading light, not blindly following the patterns of popular culture. Alert to this fact, big hitters: Anything Can Happen and Pressing On parade with pace and ambition. Once for All cuts straight to the chase, in layers of melody and charm. While the soaring Open Heaven and Overcome scatter and unfold, basking in the goodness of God.

Worship pastor Matt Hill and team invite us, with good reason, to Bring the Praise.

Pretty let down by this one... it's all getting a bit repetitive.

brilliant mix of worship songs, the words of Once for All say it all.
