If you're a long-time listener to Cross Rhythms you'll know that we reckon B.Reith to be musically up there with TobyMac and other pop R&B artists and Mr Reith's "Antidote", "The Comeback Kid" and "Old School" have all been much-enjoyed CR radio hits. Now this 2016 six-song EP will now doubt add to that list. "Start Again" is a sung celebration of positivity about there being light at the end of the tunnel with a hook strong enough to hang your hat on while "Can't Stop Lovin' You" nimbly depicts a road less travelled in the middle of the jungle. The problem with downloads is that the reviewer doesn't know who the accompanying musos are, but, whatever his name, the rhythm guitarist who comes up with such funkily accompaniments throughout 'Heart On My Sleeve' deserves plaudits. Although I would have preferred a bit of rapping like Reith gave us on "The Comeback Kid", there's no doubting that he is a huge talent now firing on all independent artist cylinders.
