London-based emcee Baliva is an intelligent artist keen to speak on a wide range of topics. The lead track, "Not Afraid" seems like an anthem of our day - with a world of uncertainty, Baliva desires to do God's will and not be afraid. Contrasting sounds fill the album like the best of modern-art painting of many colours with production from a varied team (including Tony Stone), especially at the start of the album. While the rapper has a steady lyrical flow with an occasional off-beat delivery and with varied timings ("Nothing To Prove"). Tracks like "Indifference" and the deeply felt "Approval Addict" drop with amazingly soulful rolling vibes as Baliva wants to "break free and see who he was meant to be." The album continues to paint powerful musical and lyrical pictures ("Broken Home" and the powerful worship experience of "Worthy"). Jazz and soulful vibes fill the project ("I'm Okay") but really it's the soul and the vibe of Baliva that comes across alongside the love for the God of love. This forward-thinking album ends looking forward, this time to the "Perfect City" found in Revelation.
