The new album from this now legendary gospel duo weighs in with 11 tracks lasting just over 50 minutes. As the title suggests the theme concerns various different relationships, encouraging you to stay in them and work through the problems when they arise. This is mainly a mid to down tempo recording, with the choice ballad being "Stay With Me", which has already received some ILR air play. It's a haunting melody which effortlessly drifts along while seeping into your brain. You will be humming/singing along in no time at all. If you prefer things a bit more up tempo, there are two excellent dance tracks. They will have you reaching for the volume control and dancing around after the first few bars. "Right Away" sounds as if it is an updated disco classic, with "Both Night And Day" being equal to R Kelly's current stuff. (Hopefully these tracks will be issued as singles and will soon be storming the club charts.) 'Relationships' is everything you expect from brother and sister Winans - music of the highest quality and the continuation of a great musical legacy.
